Baugé (French pronunciation:[boʒe]ⓘ) is a formercommune in theMaine-et-Loiredépartement in westernFrance. On 1 January 2013, it was merged with the former communes ofMontpollin,Pontigné,Saint-Martin-d'Arcé andLe Vieil-Baugé to create the commune ofBaugé-en-Anjou.[2] Since then it is acommune déléguée of this commune.
Baugé is located 40 km east ofAngers, 280 km fromParis, and 70 km fromTours.
