TheBattle of Savanur occurred between theKingdom of Mysore andMaratha Empire.^[1]^[2] The Mysore forces led byTipu Sultan defeated the Maratha atSavanur in October 1786. TheMaratha Army led byHari Pant retreated, and the Mysore army entered Savanur.^[3]^[1]^[4]
