Battery H, 1st Ohio Light Artillery was anartillerybattery that served in theUnion Army during theAmerican Civil War. It was also known as Huntington's Battery.
The battery was organized atCamp Dennison nearCincinnati, Ohio, and mustered in for a three-year enlistment on November 7, 1861, underCaptain James F. Huntington. The regiment was organized as early as 1860 under Ohio's militia laws, underColonel James Barnett.
