Batoprazine is adrug of thephenylpiperazine class which has been described as aserenic or antiaggressive agent.[1][2] It acts as a5-HT1A and5-HT1B receptoragonist.[2][3] It is closely related toeltoprazine,fluprazine, andnaphthylpiperazine, of which possess similar actions and effects.[3]
