Bataysah (Arabic:بتيسة, also spelledBteiseh) is a village in northernSyria located northwest ofHoms in theHoms Governorate. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics, Bataysah had a population of 688 in the 2004 census.[1] Its inhabitants are predominantlyAlawites.[2]
