Batakrushna Sahu is an Indian farmer fromOdisha. He was conferred with thePadma Shri in 2020 for his contribution in animal husbandry.[1][2][3]
A farmer from Sarkana village ofKhordha district, Sahoo startedpisciculture in 1986.[4] He trained many farmers in spawn production through traditional breeding methods. He did not get any financial help from the government. He also trained students from several colleges inOdisha.[4]
Sahoo was conferred with thePadma Shri in 2020 for his contribution in animal husbandry.
