Bastak County (Persian :شهرستان بستک ) is inHormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the city ofBastak .[ 3]
After the 2016 National Census, the villages ofHenguiyeh ,[ 4] Kuhij ,[ 5] Kukherdharang [ 6]
Bastak was traditionally part of theregion of Irahistan . Bastak's inhabitants areSunni Muslim and speak Achomi (Larestani) language. The Bastaki accent ofAchomi language is very similar to the Khonji, Gerashi and Fedaghi and Evazi and other regional accents.[citation needed
At the time of the 2006 census, the county's population was 65,716 in 13,563 households.[ 7] [ 8] [ 2]
