The basketball competitions are set to be contested at the2028 Summer Olympics inLos Angeles, California in the United States.Basketball will be held at theIntuit Dome, while the3x3 basketball will be at a temporary outdoor venue in theSepulveda Basin Recreation Area.[1][2] There will be a total of 48 teams, following the expansion of both men's and women's 3x3 tournaments from eight teams in the2020 and2024 Summer Olympics to 12.[3][4]
