Baruga, also known ambiguously asBareji, is aPapuan language spoken inOro Province, in the "tail" ofPapua New Guinea. The four rather divergent dialects are Tafota, Daghoro, Bareji, Mado. They are part of the Binanderean family of theTrans–New Guinea phylum of languages.
