Baptist News Global is aBaptistnews agency. It is aCooperative Baptist Fellowship partner.[1]

History

It was founded in 2014 as a merger ofAssociated Baptist Press (ABP) and theReligious Herald.[2][3]

TheHerald was founded in 1828 by theBaptist General Association of Virginia.[4] Associated Baptist Press was founded by Baptist journalists as an autonomous self-supporting entity in 1990, shortly after the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship split from theSouthern Baptist Convention.
