TheBangladesh cricket team toured India in September and October 2024 to play against theIndia cricket team.[1][2] The tour consisted of twoTest and threeTwenty20 International (T20I) matches.[3][4] The Test series formed part of the2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship.[5][6] In June 2024, theBoard of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the fixtures for the tour as a part of the 2024–25 home international season.[7]

On 13 August 2024,BCCI moved the venue of the first T20I from theHimachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium inDharamshala to theShrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium inGwalior due to upgrades and renovation work in the dressing rooms.[8][9]
