Test series

TheBangladesh cricket team are scheduled to tour Australia in August 2026 to play theAustralia cricket team.^[1] The tour will consist of twoTest matches.^[2] The Test series will form part of the2025–2027 ICC World Test Championship.^[3]

It will be Bangladesh's first tour to Australia in 18 years.^[4] The series will also mark the first winter Tests in Australia since 2004.^[5] Initially, the tour was scheduled to take place in March 2027 but was later moved to 2026 due to fixture congestion with the 150th Anniversary Testagainst England.^[6]^[7]
