Balussery is one of the largest of the 140state legislative assembly constituencies inKerala in southernIndia. It is also one of the sevenstate legislative assembly constituencies included inKozhikode Lok Sabha constituency.[1] Since the May 2021 assembly elections,K. M. Sachin Dev ofCPI(M), has been the MLA from Balussery, preceded byPurushan Kadalundy.
