Balqasah (Arabic:بلقسة, also spelledBelukseh) is a village in northernSyria located northwest ofHoms in theHoms Governorate. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics, Balqasah had a population of 2,078 in the 2004 census, making it the third largest locality in the subdistrict ofKhirbet Tin Nur.[1] Its inhabitants are predominantlyAlawites.[2]
