Balgha (Arabic:البلغة,romanized: l-bəlġa), also spelledbalga,belgha, orbelga, are heellessslippers made fromleather. They are part of traditional dresses of theMaghreb andEgypt.[1][2][3]
Balghas are worn by men and women of all social classes, both in urban andrural areas.
It is also known aBabouche Slippers byMoroccans. InMorocco, they are seen as luxury footwear and are available in various colors, materials and patterns.[4]
