Balbinot I is a low-luminosityglobular cluster in theconstellation ofPegasus. It is located31.9kpc away from theSun, in theMilky Waygalactic halo. Its totalluminosity is similar to that of the clustersAM 4 andKoposov I, thus being one of the faintest globular clusters known. FromPan-STARRS data, the presence oftidal tails has been suggested.[2]
