TheBalan River is atransboundary river starting fromSivalik Hills ofNepal and crossing toIndia atLaxmipur. It is a plains-fed system. The length of the river is about 200 km (120 mi). It then merges with theKamala River and finally outflows to theKosi River.[1][2][3]
