Bagrat Konstantinovich Ioannisiani (born 23 October [O.S. 10 October] 1911 inYerevan,Armenia, died 10 December 1985 inLeningrad,Soviet Union) was a Soviettelescope designer ofArmenian descent.
He was the chief designer of theBTA-6, one of the largest telescopes in the world.[1] He was awarded theLenin Prize in 1957.[2]
