Baffled! is a 1973 American-Britishmade-for-televisionsupernaturalmystery film directed byPhilip Leacock.[2][3] The story is part of theoccult detective subgenre and starsLeonard Nimoy,[4]Susan Hampshire,[1] andVera Miles.[1]
Baffled! was intended as apilot for a television series[3] but when no network showed interest it was released in British theatres[1] and later released as a television film in America onNBC.[1] The British version runs ten minutes longer than the American.[5]
Race car driver Tom Kovack suddenly begins to experiencepsychic visions.[4] He meets Michelle Brent, an expert on theparanormal, and the two form an unlikely partnership. Kovack's visions draw them into an occult-themed mystery at a remote inn on the English coast.
Scorpion Releasing, in conjunction withITV, released a DVD ofBaffled! in 2014.[5] The DVD included both the UK version and U.S versions of the film.[5]
