Tito Escondido (born October 4, 1983), better known by his ring nameBad Dude Tito , is an Americanprofessional wrestler . He works forNew Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is a member ofThe Mighty Don't Kneel (TMDK). He has also appeared inMajor League Wrestling (MLW), where he is a one-timeMLW National Openweight Champion .
Professional wrestling career [ edit ] New Japan Pro-Wrestling (2021–present)[ edit ] On the January 22, 2022 episode ofNJPW Strong , Tito made his NJPW debut where he lost toJuice Robinson .[ 1] [ 2] On the February 12 episode of NJPW Strong, he teamed up withJonah where they lost toFinJuice (David Finlay and Juice Robinson).[ 3] [ 4] On the March 6, episode ofNJPW Strong ,Shane Haste interfered in the tag team match between FinJuice and the pairing of Jonah and Tito. He attacked Robinson while the referee was distracted, allowing Tito to hit a frog splash on Robinson for the win,[ 5] reforming TMDK in the process. AtWindy City Riot , TMDK and Tito were defeated by FinJuice and their partner, revealed to beBrody King .[ 6] On May 14, atCapital Collision , TMDK and Tito defeated theUnited Empire , withMikey Nicholls pinningKyle Fletcher for the win. After the match, Tito, who had been tagging with Jonah since the start of the year, officially joined TMDK.[ 7]
On June 20, Jonah was announced as being part ofG1 Climax 32 .[ 8] Tito accompanied Jonah, with both wrestlers being used in undercard tag team matches throughout the tournament.[ 9]
Impact Wrestling (2023)[ edit ] AtSacrifice , as part of a partnership betweenImpact Wrestling and NJPW, Haste and Tito facedImpact World Tag Team Champions Bullet Club (Ace Austin andChris Bey ) in a losing effort.[ 10] They lost to Bullet Club again atMultiverse United in a four-way tag team match which also involvedAussie Open (Kyle Fletcher andMark Davis ) and theMotor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley andChris Sabin ).[ 11] [ 12]
Major League Wrestling (2024)[ edit ] DuringThe Burning Crush , which aired on February 17, 2024, it was announced that Tito would faceMatt Riddle atIntimidation Games .[ 13] [ 14] At the event on February 29, Tito was unsuccessful at winning theNJPW World Television Championship against Riddle.[ 15] On April 20 atWar Chamber II , Tito (accompanied bySalina de la Renta ) unsuccessfully challengedSatoshi Kojima for theMLW World Heavyweight Championship .[ 16] On May 11 atMLW Azteca Lucha , Tito defeatedRickey Shane Page to win theMLW National Openweight Championship .[ 17] On June 22 atAnniversary '24 , Tito made his first title defence, defeatingJake Crist .[ 18] On November 9 atLucha Apocalypto , Tito was defeated byMatthew Justice in a falls count anywhere match, ending his reign at 182 days.[ 19]
Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (2024)[ edit ] It was announced on May 1, 2024 onCMLL Informa that Tito and Che Cabrera (Wolf Zaddies) were the first participants ofFantasticaMania México 2024 and subsequently began a tour.[ 20] At the event on June 21, Tito and Cabrera were defeated byLos Depredadores (Magnus andRugido ).[ 21]
