TheBack Creek, aperennial stream of theRichmond River catchment, is located inNorthern Rivers region in the state ofNew South Wales,Australia.
Back Creek rises below Homeleigh Mountain about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) north northeast ofKyogle. The river flows generally south southeast, joined by three minortributaries before reaching itsconfluence with theLeycester Creek near the village ofLeycester. The river descends 357 metres (1,171 ft) over its 63 kilometres (39 mi)course.[2]
