TheBWF Para-Badminton World Championships (formerly known as theIBAD Para-Badminton World Championships) is a badminton tournament organised by theBadminton World Federation. It's the most prestigious badminton competition, offering the most ranking points, along with theSummer Paralympicsbadminton events introduced in2020. The highest rankedpara-badminton players compete in six sport classes[1] in five categories. The championships were organised under the Para Badminton World Federation (PBWF) before it merged with the BWF in June 2011.[2]
