BTS 74,398 is a centrally actingstimulant drug which was developed for the treatment ofParkinson's disease. It inhibits the synaptic reuptake ofdopamine, serotonin andnoradrenaline, making it atriple reuptake inhibitor.[1] It was effective inanimal models of Parkinson's disease,[2][3] but was unsuccessful in human trials.[4]
