TheBMW B57 is aturbo-diesel straight-six engine , produced byBMW since 2015.[ 1]
The B57 belongs to a family of modular engines, including theB37 andB47 diesel engines, andB38 ,B48 , andB58 petrol engines .[ 2] [ 3] N57 diesel engine, and was first introduced in theG11 7 Series . The B57 is available in configurations of up to 4turbochargers , that operate in adouble-series layout.[ 4] Ineos Grenadier .[ 5]
