Azhiyooris a village inVatakara taluk ofKozhikode district in the state ofKerala,India.[1] Azhiyur is part of theGreater Mahé Region.[citation needed] . Mahé Railway Station is located near Azhiyoor.
As of 2011[update] Indiacensus, Azhiyur had a population of 30,023, with 13,595 males and 16,428 females.[2][1]It is situated close to Mayyazhi (Mahe).
