Avondale is anunincorporated community in southwesternPlain Township,Stark County,Ohio, United States. Located just northwest ofCanton and north ofMeyers Lake,[1] its altitude is 1,135 feet (346 m).[2]

The community is part of theCanton–MassillonMetropolitan Statistical Area.
