Avión is a municipality in the province ofOurense, in the autonomous community ofGalicia,Spain. It belongs to thecomarca ofO Ribeiro. It has a population of 1,910 (2016)[1] and an area of 121 km².[3]
The town is the summer retreat of Spanish-Mexican millionaireOlegario Vázquez Raña who has hosted Mexican billionaireCarlos Slim there several times, and of other wealthy Mexicans who own summer homes there.[4]
