Avesnes-en-Val (French pronunciation:[avɛnɑ̃val]) is acommune in theSeine-Maritimedepartment in theNormandyregion in northernFrance.
A smallfarming commune comprising the village itself and seven hamlets, in thePays de Bray, situated some 17 miles (27 km) east ofDieppe, at the junction of the D26 and D226 roads.
