Aureliopolis in Asia is both aRoman era city and a vacanttitular see[1] located in theecumenical province ofAsia,[2] in what is today Turkey.[3]
TheRoman city (also known as Frenel and Evrenli), was located on theplain of Adramyttium at 39.5583N and 27.0983E. It was on theFreneli Çay river near the modern town ofHavran inBalıkesir Province of Turkey. At timesminted its own coins.[4]
