Aulnoye-Aymeries (French pronunciation:[o(l)nwaɛm(ə)ʁi];Picard:Auno-Aymeries) is acommune in theNorddepartment in northernFrance. It was established in 1953 by the merger of the former communes Aulnoye and Aymeries.[3]
Before the opening of thehigh-speed railway line betweenBrussels andParis, therailway station of Aulnoye-Aymeries was a major junction, where the linesParis–Brussels andCalais–Lille–Thionville connected.
