Augustine Ahinful (born 30 November 1974) is a Ghanaian former professionalfootballer who played as asecond striker, notably forAnkaragücü in theSüper Lig.[1]
Ahinful was born inAccra. He was theGhana Premier League topscorer on 1992–93 season withGoldfield Obuasi.[2] He played forBorussia Dortmund in Germany,Grasshoppers in Switzerland,União de Leiria andBoavista in Portugal,Venezia in Italy,Ankaragücü andTrabzonspor in Turkey.
Ahinful made several appearance for theGhana national team. He participated in the1993 FIFA World Youth Championship,[3]1996 Summer Olympics[4] and in the2000 African Cup of Nations.
