Augustus Busck (February 18, 1870 inRanders, Denmark[1] – March 7, 1944) was a Danish-Americanentomologist with theUnited States Department of Agriculture'sBureau of Entomology, stationed in theU.S. National Museum.[2] He is best known for his work withmicrolepidoptera, of which he described over 600 species. His collections of Lepidoptera from North America and thePanama Canal Zone are held by theNational Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C.
