Astrophysics is apeer-reviewedscientific journal ofastrophysics published bySpringer. Each volume is published every three months. It was founded in 1965 by the Soviet Armenian astrophysicistViktor Ambartsumian. It is the English version of the journalAstrofizika, published by theArmenian National Academy of Sciences mostly in Russian.[1][2] The currenteditor-in-chief is Arthur Nikoghossian.[3]

The focus of this journal is astronomy and is a translation of the peer-reviewed Russian language journalAstrofizika.[3]
