Astacinga is amunicipality in theMexicanstate ofVeracruz. It is located about 213 km from state capitalXalapa to the south. It has a surface of 69.09 km2. It is located at18°34′N97°06′W / 18.567°N 97.100°W /18.567; -97.100.
The municipality of Astacinga is delimited to the north byTlaquilpa, to the north-east byMixtla de Altamirano, to the south-east byTehuipango and to the west byPuebla,[1]
