AnAssociate of Science in Respiratory Care (ASRC ) is an entry-leveltertiary education respiratory therapy degree . In theUnited States , this type of degree is usually awarded bycommunity colleges or similarrespiratory schools . Some four year colleges also offer this degree.[ 1] Students in the United States awarded an Associate of Science in Respiratory Care are qualified to sit for theNBRC-ELE and then theNBRC-WRE andNBRC-CSE then apply for statelicensure as aRegistered Respiratory Therapist .[ 2] [ 3]
