TheAssembly Hall is a 2,079-capacity performance venue located on the campus ofHunter College inManhattan,New York City. The theater is mostly used for graduation ceremonies, large symposiums, or performances by the college's orchestra.[1] TheNew York Philharmonic played at the hall whileDavid Geffen Hall was considering undergoing renovations.[2][3] The venue has hosted many notable music acts such asPink Floyd,The Doors andFrank Sinatra.[4]
