Asif Raza Mir (Urdu:آصف رضا میر) is a Pakistani film and TV actor and producer.

He is known for his roles in TV playsSamundar (1983),Tanhaiyaan (1985) andIshq Gumshuda (2010) and the filmsDaaman (1980),Badaltay Mausam (1980), andMaan Jao Na (2018).

In 2020, he made his international debut with the British crime-drama seriesGangs of London.

Early and personal life

Asif Raza Mir was born and brought up inLahore,Punjab but has since then shifted toKarachi due to his professional work.[1] For many years, he has also resided inCalgary,Canada where he has business interests.[2]

He's the son of film directorRaza Mir, who was the cinematographer for the first ever Pakistani film,Teri Yaad (1948).[3] He is married to Samra Asif. They have two sons,Ahad Raza Mir and Adnan Raza Mir, both actors.

Since starting his acting career aged 17, he has worked in several films and has also been part of several famous TV series.[4]

Asif Raza Mir's international debut was in 2020 with the British series Gangs of London. He is a series regular on this project.[5][6][7]

Producer

In 2009, he foundedA&B Entertainment withBabar Javed, a television production house which in 2013 was considered the "second-largest television studio" in Pakistan, afterMoomal Productions.[8]
