Asian Ethnology is anopen access,peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the promotion of research on the peoples andcultures of Asia.[2] It was first published in 1942 at theCatholic University of Peking asFolklore Studies[3] and subsequently atNanzan University, where from 1963 to 2007 it was known asAsian Folklore Studies.[4]
