Ashwin Balrak (born 17 May 1975) is aSurinamese-Dutch professionalkickboxer andlawyer.

Career and recent arrest

Balrak was a former WPKL EuropeanKickboxing champion who also competed inK-1. He made his K-1 debut in 2007 atK-1 Fighting Network Romania 2007 againstPatrice Quarteron.[1]

Acriminal lawyer by profession, Balrak was arrested on 26 November 2010 inRotterdam along with five other Surinamese nationals fordrug trafficking, carrying 82 kg ofcocaine and allegedly trafficking drugs for a distribution network.[2]
