Ashley Carroll (born November 24, 1994) is an Americansport shooter. She grew up inSolvang, California and has competed in theWorld Championships,Pan American Games, and Championships of the Americas.[1]
She participated at the2018 ISSF World Shooting Championships, winning a medal.[2]
She is the firstUSA Shooting Team athlete to win three straight national titles sinceVincent Hancock from 2010-2012.[1]
Ashley Carroll got introduced to trap shooting by her father, Charlie, a longtime shooting sport coach.[3] She later joined the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP), where she began to practice regularly.[3][4]
As a teenager, Ashley regularly competed with adults. She also participated in multiple national competitions, including theJunior Olympics.[3] In 2010, she committed to shooting full time after traveling overseas with the World Cup team. By 2013, she began training at theU.S Olympic Training Center in Colorado.[3]
