Asha Patera is apatera, or a complex crater with scalloped edges, onJupiter's moonIo. It is approximately 108 kilometers in diameter and located at8°50′S225°41′W / 8.84°S 225.69°W /-8.84; -225.69 (Asha Patera). It is named afterasha, theZoroastrian principle of Truth. Its name was adopted by theInternational Astronomical Union in 1979.[1]Reiden Patera andKami-Nari Patera can both be found to the west.[2]
