Artur Gavazzi (14 October 1861 – 12 March 1944) was ageographer andcartographer.
Gavazzi was born inSplit (then in theAustrian Empire) and died inZagreb (then in theIndependent State of Croatia).
Gavazzi was the first professor of geography at theUniversity of Ljubljana, whereAnton Melik succeeded him. In 1928, Gavazzi went to theUniversity of Zagreb.
