Army Red, also known asIndian Army football team,[1][2] is one of thefootball sections that represents theIndian Army. The team regularly participates in theDurand Cup,[3][4][5][6]Calcutta Premier Division and various regional tournaments.[7][8]

History

Army Red briefly participated in the top division of theCalcutta Football League in 2016.[9] In June 2023, the club was placed in the group I, when theIndian Football Association (IFA) announced the merger of both Premier Division A and B of the Calcutta Football League ahead of its 125th edition.[10][11][12]
