Eastern Catholic missionary jurisdiction in Latin America

TheArmenian Catholic Apostolic Exarchate of Latin America and Mexico (América Latina e México) is a pre-diocesan missionary jurisdiction of theArmenian Catholic Churchsui iuris (Armenian Rite inArmenian language) in parts ofLatin America.

It is exempt, i.e. directly dependent on Rome (notably theRoman Congregation for the Oriental Churches), not part of anyecclesiastical province.

It has acathedral episcopal:Catedral Armênia São Gregório Iluminador, São Paulo, Brazil and aCo-cathedral:Nuestra Señora de Bzommar, Montevideo, Uruguay.
