Armel Traoré (born January 23, 2003) is a French professionalbasketball player forLDLC ASVEL of theLNB Élite andEuroLeague. He has previously played for theLos Angeles Lakers of theNBA and theSouth Bay Lakers of theNBA G League.[1]
After beginning his career withCFBB, Traoré signed withAS Monaco of theLNB Pro A on 7 July 2021.[2]
In early 2022, Traoré was loaned toALM Évreux of theLNB Pro B.[3]
On 26 July 2022, Traoré signed withMetropolitans 92 of theLNB Pro A.[4]
On 23 June 2023, Traoré signed withADA Blois of theLNB Pro A[5] where he averaged 10.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 25.5 minutes after playing in 33 matches.[6]
After going undrafted in the2024 NBA draft, Traoré signed atwo-way contract with theLos Angeles Lakers on 5 July 2024.[6][7] He was waived on 5 February 2025.[8]
Traoré signed withBàsquet Manresa of theLiga ACB on 25 February.[9][10]
On July 23, 2025, Traoré signed withLDLC ASVEL of theLNB Élite.[11]
