Ariana (Arabic:أريانةArianaⓘ) is a coastal city in north-easternTunisia, part of the agglomeration ofTunis, also calledGrand Tunis. It is located at the north of Tunis city center, around36°51′45″N10°11′44″E / 36.86250°N 10.19556°E /36.86250; 10.19556. It is ~2.6 kilometeres away from Tunis. It is the capital ofAriana Governorate and the country's eighth largest city.
