Argentine-Swedish relations are bilateral relations between theArgentine Republic and theKingdom of Sweden. Both countries established diplomatic relations on January 3, 1846. Argentina has an embassy inStockholm. Swedenhas an embassy in Buenos Aires and 3 honorary consulates (inCórdoba,Oberá, andTucumán); the ambassador is also concurrent to Uruguay and Paraguay.[1]

There are around 175,000 people ofSwedish descent living in Argentina.

In 1977, Swedish-Argentine girlDagmar Hagelin disappeared in Argentina during theDirty War.
