Apas are very thin oblong-shapedbiscuits sprinkled with sugar. They are a specialty ofQuezon (particularlyLucena andLucban) and the widerSouthern Tagalog region; but they are also found inCebu. They are also known asbinuruhas inSariaya (not to be confused withbroas). They are made with flour, milk, eggs, sugar, and butter. They are mild-flavored and are typically eaten with hot drinks.[1][2][3]

"Apa" is also theTagalog term for wafer, especiallyice cream cones.[4]
