InGreek mythology,Antiphus orÁntiphos (/ˈæntəfəs/;Ancient Greek: Ἄντιφος) is a name attributed to multiple individuals:

• Antiphus, aPhthian prince as the son of KingMyrmidon andPeisidice, and brother ofActor.^[1] He may be the same with Antippus, the father ofHippea who became the mother ofPolyphemus,Caeneus andIschys byElatus, king of theLapiths.^[2]
• Antiphus, theThespian son ofHeracles andLaothoe,^[3] daughter of KingThespius ofThespiae.^[4] Antiphus and his 49 half-brothers were born of Thespius' daughters who were impregnated by Heracles in one night,^[5] for a week^[6] or in the course of 50 days^[7] while hunting for theCithaeronian lion.^[8] Later on, the hero sent a message to Thespius to keep seven of these sons and send three of them inThebes while the remaining forty, joined byIolaus, were dispatched to the island ofSardinia to found a colony.^[9]
• Antiphus, a defender ofThebes in the war of theSeven against Thebes who was killed byAmphiaraus andApollo.^[10]
• Antiphus, son ofThessalus, the son ofHeracles, andChalciope. With his brotherPheidippus, Antiphus lead the forces ofCalydnae,Cos,Carpathus,Casus andNisyrus on the side of the Greeks againstTroy. He was also believed to have invaded a region of Greece that he namedThessaly after his father.^[11]
• Antiphus, aTrojan prince as one of the 50sons of KingPriam and son ofHecuba.^[12] During theTrojan War, he killed Leucus, and later was killed byAgamemnon.^[13] In another account, Antiphus and his brothers,Agavus,Agathon, andGlaucus, were all slain byAjax, son ofTelamon.^[14]
• Antiphus ofMaeonia, son ofTalaemenes and brother ofMesthles; both he and his brother were allies ofPriam in theTrojan War.^[15]
• Antiphus, son ofAegyptius and brother ofEurynomus. He was a Greek commander who sailed from Troy withOdysseus. Having previously escaped death at the hand ofEurypylus (son ofTelephus), Antiphos was devoured byPolyphemus.^[16]
• Antiphus, an old friend of the house ofOdysseus.^[17]

The name Antiphus is not to be confused with Antiphōs (Ἀντίφως), which refers to a soldier in the army of theSeven against Thebes who killedChromis but was himself killed by Hypseus.^[18]
