Antikristos orAntikrystós (Greek:αντικρυστός χορός) is a dance ofGreek origin.[1] “Aντικρυστός” inGreek language refers to the verb αντικρύζω “be across, opposite, face-to-face” (fromAncient Greek ἀντικρύ “vis-à-vis, face-to-face”). It is also known inArmenia. Antikristos has similarities with thekarsilamas dance. It is danced in couples.[2]
